About Me
My name is Casey Benjamin Christopherson, though I just go by Ben. I grew up in Memphis and have always loved the passion and art that grows from here. I remember being in second grade and learning that my teacher’s husband owned his own studio and even worked on “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars. It was the earliest I can recall being infatuated by what goes on behind all of my favorite songs.
- 2 years of Recording Technology at the University of Memphis
- 10+ years of Music experience and knowledge
- Proficient in Pro Tools and Logic
- Experience working as an A2 in a studio with talented musicians
Skip ahead a few years to sixth grade, and I had picked up both guitar and trumpet. I wanted to be apart of the feeling music gives you, and I wanted to give the feeling to other people. In the present day, I have focused my passion into what gives me most fulfillment, which is audio engineering.
I love trying my hardest on projects to give the said song, or scene, the sound it deserves. I love bringing art to life through means of production and engineering intricacies. Many of the projects I have helped record and produce have pushed my knowledge greatly all just to get that “sound”.

One of my proudest achievements was a class final under my professor Kurt Clayton (2-time Grammy nominated Producer and songwriter), who gave our group project an A+ and first place out of the whole class. The song was “Before/ The Sunburnt Way” and I was the engineer and producer for the project, also filling in for most instrument performances. I’ve also done sound effects for a short movie, as well as recorded an entire soundtrack for the music score. I have learned logic and pro tools proficiently, and also have experience handling microphones ands cables. I’ve recorded multiple songs at home with artists friends, as well as working as an A2 in live studio.
